About This Program

Program Description

The Certificate in Christian Leadership equips students with foundational knowledge and practical skills for responsible Christian leadership and discipleship. The programme integrates biblical studies, Christian worldview, spiritual formation, human development and introductory ministry practice.

Students examine the biblical foundations of leadership and explore how Christian character, spiritual maturity and service influence effective ministry. The discipleship and spiritual formation component prepares students to support the growth and development of others through mentoring, teaching, encouragement and accountable relationships.

The programme also introduces students to human development, helping them understand the personal, relational and developmental factors that shape individuals and communities. Academic writing and study skills strengthen students’ ability to communicate ideas clearly and undertake further theological or ministry education.

Supervised Field Education enables students to apply their learning within an approved church, ministry or community setting. By combining classroom learning with practical experience, the programme prepares graduates to lead small groups, support ministry teams, facilitate discipleship activities and progress to diploma-level study.
