Certificate, Christian Education
Equipping Faithful Teachers for the Educational Ministry of the Church.
About This Program
Program Description
The Certificate in Christian Education provides a structured introduction to the theological, educational and practical foundations of Christian teaching and ministry. It is designed for learners who wish to develop the knowledge, confidence and competence required to serve in Sunday schools, Christian education departments, discipleship programmes and other church-based learning environments.
Students explore the foundations of Christian education, biblical studies, Christian worldview, counselling and ministry practice. The programme develops essential teaching skills while helping students understand how people learn, how Christian character is formed and how biblical knowledge can be communicated clearly to different groups within the Church.
Academic writing and study skills prepare students for further theological education, while supervised field education allows them to apply their learning in an authentic ministry environment. Graduates are prepared to support the teaching ministry of local churches or progress to a relevant diploma programme.
